The encounter of the gangster who shot Amritpal Singh and ran away…

It is to be mentioned that the gangster Rana attacked the team of CIA staff who went to catch Rana Mansoorpuria at village Mansoorpur yesterday and injured an employee Amritpal Singh, who died during treatment. Sukhwinder Singh Rana alias gangster Rana Mansoorpuria, who opened fire, was killed by the police in an encounter near village Purana Bhangala on Mukerian Pathankot National Highway.

It is to be noted that the gangster attacked the team of CIA staff who went to catch Rana Mansoorpuria at village Mansoorpur yesterday and injured one of the employees, Amritpal Singh, who died during treatment. The police are continuously searching for the accused. was SSP Hoshiarpur Surinder Lamba said that the police was looking for the accused from the time of the incident and on the basis of various information, a search operation was conducted in the locations of villages and farms.

The police had blockaded all the general, connecting roads leading to Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot from the place of the incident since night and was being continuously patrolled by a dozen police teams led by about 4 DSPs and 6 police chiefs.

The police had received a tip-off that the accused Rana Mansoorpuria had been left in the forests in Hajipur area by one of his associates, who was being searched for by forming different teams. Meanwhile, the police received information around 9.30 this morning that the said gangster had poured oil into the motorcycle from a petrol pump near Bhangala. Around 5 o’clock, information was received that the gangster Rana has taken shelter in a deserted place outside the Aman Palace near Bhangala. Gangster Rana started firing on seeing the police. Rana was killed in the retaliatory firing of the police.
