Opium cultivation in Fazilka, police took a big action.

During a joint search operation by BSF jawans and Punjab Police to prevent illegal cultivation of poppy in the border areas of Fazilka district, cultivation of opium along with coriander was found in a field near Kheva Dhani Bachan. After this, a person has been arrested on the charge of illegal cultivation of opium and around 14,470 kg of opium plants have been uprooted and seized.
