NRIs eager to make substantial investments in Punjab

The Punjab government on Friday organised an NRI meeting at Chamrod Pattan, during which the NRIs appreciated the concerted efforts being made to attract investments to the state.

Dalwinder Singh of Tanda, residing in France for the past 28 years, expressed his desire to establish a university in Tanda. He noted that the state government, led by Bhagwant Singh Mann, has transformed Punjab, instilling hope that the reverse migration trend in Punjab has begun. He extended gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, acknowledging his efforts that have benefited NRIs and strengthened trust in the government. He said that NRIs are actively contributing to the development of their villages and assured fulsome support to the state government.

Sewa Singh from Mukerian, now residing in New York, USA, appreciated the Punjab government’s dedicated efforts towards NRIs. He said that his children, settled abroad, frequently visit Punjab and appreciate the initiatives take by the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann as it keenly works on the various issues related to NRIs.
