Patiala- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said today that the state government is making continuous efforts to make Punjab a debt-free, progressive and prosperous state. Addressing the gathering during the ‘Government-Business Meet’ here today, the Chief Minister said that due to the bad policies of the previous governments, the state had inherited a debt pile, but his government would make all possible efforts to get the state out of these crises, which Concrete efforts are already being made for this. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the two-year budget shows good things including increase in revenue in the state and this trend will continue in the coming days.
The Chief Minister said, “Punjab is witnessing such joyous events for the first time in history. Earlier, only political mud was thrown at each other in events, but now joyous celebrations are being celebrated in such events. For the first time, traders have become an integral part of decision-making to take the state to the point of success.”
