Kurukshetra University, under the visionary leadership of Chancellor Bandaru Dattatray, achieves a momentous milestone as it secures the prestigious A++ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Chancellor of KU Bandaru Dattatray hailed this remarkable achievement as the biggest in the university’s history, positioning it among the top institutions nationwide.
Haryana Governor Dattatray extended heartfelt congratulations to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva and Registrar Prof. Sanjeev Sharma during a courtesy meeting at Haryana Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh, lauding their unwavering dedication and leadership. He said that KU is the only University among 21 State Universities of Haryana to achieve the highest Grade, A++ in its 4th cycle of assessment by NAAC. The Governor also commended the collective efforts of teachers, officers, employees, alumni, and students in this historic feat.
Highlighting Kurukshetra University’s exemplary performance across various domains, Governor Bandaru Dattatray emphasized its academic and research excellence, curriculum design, new courses, National and International achievement in the field of sports and culture, best practices and innovative initiatives. The university’s implementation of National Education Policy-2020, student-centric policies, patents, MOUs, state-of-the-art facilities, and sustainable practices impressed the NAAC team, resulting in the prestigious A++ grade.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva attributed this milestone to the guidance of Chancellor Bandaru Dattatray and Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal, underscoring their steadfast support. He underscored the rigorous evaluation process conducted by NAAC, wherein Kurukshetra University’s academic prowess and overall excellence garnered the highest accolade.
